Pest control services in San Diego consist in more than just
laying down a line of pesticide. Our integrated pest
management system is a whole house approach to your
insect problem. If you have any questions on what the IPM
system consists of go to the main page of this website where
we explain briefly what the system consists of.

The process of spraying your home for bugs and other
unwanted insects involves two separate applications of
pesticide. The first application occurs inside your home. This
inside spray kills all the bugs that are permanently living
inside your home. After we have completed this spray we will
go outside and spray a protective "shield" of pesticide around
the outside of your home. This outside spray is laid down
against the base of your home. Insects are unable to pass
over the ground that has been sprayed with the pesticide
therefore this spray stops outside insects from coming into
your home and replacing the ones that we killed with the
inside spray.

If you want to home to become and remain pest free it is
important that you periodically touch up the spray spots. There
are two reasons for this need for simple routine pest control
maintenance. The first reason is because insect pesticides
(poison sprays) will not kill the larva and eggs of bugs. This
means that we could kill 100% of all insects living in your
house but if we never come back to occasionally re-spray all
the eggs will eventually hatch and unwanted pests will again
be welcomed back into your home.

The second reason why it is important that we come back for
periodic sprays is because over time the chemical will wear
off and if we do not re apply it then your home will become
infested by bugs all over again. Because of the severity of the
elements (wind and rain) the need to reapply chemical is
especially true of the chemical that we spray outside your
home. This is why we have both monthly and bi-monthly pest
control contracts.

Either way, we will do our best to make sure that your home is
pest free.
